Chronology of an Old Woman's Death part 6
March 25th 2008 18:45
Alright, I’m going to try to condense this so I can get up to present. Well her lungs are clear now and so it is hard to say what the prognosis really is. Sherry and Frank finally hired an attorney and Frank was made executive and power of attorney. The attorney somehow got records of two Social Security checks and one Workers Comp check being cashed…must have been Ron. There is to be a competency hearing for both Claire and Charley on April 7th.
In the meantime, the lawyer told Frank to hire a tow truck to tow the three vehicles since they found that all of them were in Claire’s name and he told them to cancel the insurance. Sure wish I could be there to witness the tow truck taking that stuff.
This past Friday, Frank went over to the house to look around and was told by Ron, to “get out of his house.” This provoked Frank enough that he called the police. When the police came, they told Ron to get a few things and move on down the road. He was really ticked but did as told. However, he was back at the house again before the weekend was over. The attorney told Frank to go padlock the doors.
Now comes the phone call from a PI that the attorney hired. It seems that $60k of Claire and Charley’s money has been withdrawn from the bank since the day of Claire’s stroke! When this crap finally hits a courtroom, I may have to break down and go back so I can go to the hearing just to see Ron try to explain himself out of this mess. He’s such a punk. The attorney is now working with the prosecuting attorney’s office to see how bad they can slam him. I can hardly wait!
More to come……
