Wow, I just got back from visiting a friend of mine in Canada. First off it was a nice visit. Canada is beautiful! I have to tell you my friend's family probably thought I was a crazy American because I was so in awe of their TV. They used something called bell tv and trust me, it far surpased my cable service. Crap, my friend had over 500 hd channels. It was amazing! I thought we were supposed to be the most technologically advanced?
Geez, I am so sorry I let the Bachelor suck me in this season. First they kept giving that little preview of DeAnna....I had thought they would be the perfect couple...until she picked Jessie. And yes, I felt so bad for Jason and I was glad they were giving him another shot at love.
Well, after watching the entire season and then the finale last night, I am convinced more than ever that this guy is either a fake seeking some tv time and his moment of fame, or he has some deep psychological issues. (I'm betting its the first one
I really love it when I come upon something that just really jumps out at me. Today, while checking out comments on a social networking site for artists (all kinds). I clicked on the name of a person who left a comment on one of my pieces and this is what I found......
Every area of the country has various traditions for the holidays that are supposed to bring good luck. The New Year is an especially big holiday for those who are superstitious or into these rituals.
I'm not superstitious and not really into rituals, except for one. I grew up with the belief that if I do the following, I will have plenty of money to carry me through the upcoming year. Now don't laugh too hard because I can honestly say that every year I did it, I did not suffer a bit financially during the year. No, I didn't get rich, but I had plenty to live nice
I am so sick of watching the fallout from this bailout! I could have told them it wouldn't work as planned. Think about your home budget. If you are any good with money, you would know that if someone bails you out, you will likely go straight back down the same path you went the first time.
I think the way that 700 billion dollars should have been used is to catch up every homeowner who is behind on their house payment and then make them attend financial management classes and no additional credit available to you until you successfully pass the course work
Good grief. I read today where a veteran firefighter stole the severed foot of an accident victim at the scene of the accident. It was a woman to boot, which surprised me even more. People sure do some bizarre stuff!
Did you catch the news about the car Ford is selling in Europe that gets 65 mpg? What's up with that? Their new Ford Fiesta Econetic car will be sold in Europe but not here in the US because of "various business reasons."
I think it won't be sold here because it would take away from the sale of the more expensive hybrids. When I lived in Europe it was amazing how much car you got for so little money. I bought a car, and I can't remember the name it had but it was the equivalent to the Maxima here. This car was so tricked out with extras you wouldn't have believed it. It was luxurious, seated six and was brand new in 1983 and only cost us $5300. In 1984, I bought a VW bug "SunnyBug" that was awesome, out the door for $3300. Car makers (and EPA) sure know how to jack up the price of a vehicle for America.
Do you know what it is? It's a lovebug. I'm not sure if they only live in the south or if northerners experience them as well. They come here twice. Once at the beginning of summer and then again in Sept/Oct. They do not bite but they are everywhere.
Even though they are harmless they are disgusting. It is my understanding their only function in life is to mate, give birth, then die. I'm guessing they are very important in the food chain
Well, I knew it was going to happen, I just didn't know it was going to be so crazy, so quick. I had to go to DC last week for work. I reserved two outrageously priced tickets (thankfully, Uncle Sam will pay for them) and had to do it on two different airlines because of the available flights.
So on the way there, I get to the airport, through security and into the terminal. Things looked pretty good. Got on the plane and we took off right on time. Ah yes, this is what I'm talking about
Well, it's been a rainy day in Biloxi, so I've spent the whole day playing on my computer trying to get and figure out Windows Movie Maker. I wanted to do this because I see so many opportunities to do videos. Another place where I do some stuff is having a contest so I am so happy I figured it out and I'm pretty pleased with my first product.. I'm not promoting anything here, I just want to share my movie
Alright, I’m going to try to condense this so I can get up to present. Well her lungs are clear now and so it is hard to say what the prognosis really is. Sherry and Frank finally hired an attorney and Frank was made executive and power of attorney. The attorney somehow got records of two Social Security checks and one Workers Comp check being cashed…must have been Ron. There is to be a competency hearing for both Claire and Charley on April 7th.
In the meantime, the lawyer told Frank to hire a tow truck to tow the three vehicles since they found that all of them were in Claire’s name and he told them to cancel the insurance. Sure wish I could be there to witness the tow truck taking that stuff
