How does one get listed on Yahoo?

I have been doing everything with a couple of my sites trying to get them out there. I have found my way to Google, but I sure cannot seem to make it where I come up on a Yahoo search. Anyone have any tips? This is very frustrating. Thanks!

I think that I've gotten more results here from Yahoo than Google, but I don't know why that is.
