I need a video card

I bought a new laptop which is awesome but I want to have my desktop in good working order. It's an older model but at the time it was the ultimate so I have put in more memory and I got a new keyboard, speakers and a monitor. I thought I was good to go but when I went to play a game there were some graphics problems. I guess I'm going to have to look at new video cards to see what's available.
