It's over....yea!!!!!

I cannot tell you just how happy I am that it is November 8th and we have moved past November 4th. I think that this is the worst election year I have lived through in my 53 years on this earth. Now I'm not saying any election year has been what I would call good, but this year was so full of propaganda that it about drove me crazy and I'm not just talking about the Presidential part of it. Our local candidates did such slander campaigns it was disgusting. Each add was so full of lies about the other candidate it left one feeling like they shouldn't vote for either. Wouldn't it be refreshing to have an election where the focus was purely the issues with no slander, no negative words and no lies??? I think it would be awesome!

The Political Brief
I'm glad it's over, too, Cathy. A two year election is way too long. You'd think we'd know more about the winner by now, wouldn't you? The more I find out about the new President, the less I like him. We have done a serious damage to ourselves by our foolishness. But at least we know what the next four years will bring. It's sort of like finding out that you'll have the flu for four years. And there's no cure...

Lol...hang in there S.L....I figure he is going to have to work very hard to prove himself...he has no choice. He has made history and I don't think he will want to turn back history a hundred years if he doesn't perform. I pray he can lead our country somewhere better than where it is at this moment. If not, we'll be doing theraflu shots for a long time to come.
