Job Hunting

It is so weird to go to work and see everyone around you filling out resumes and applying for jobs. I know it even sounds strange to say that, but we all have temporary appointments that are rapidly coming to an end. It almost makes me sad, but I'm not looking for a job because I have the GI Bill and I've already got it all set up to start, so when my number is up here, I'm heading off to college.

Huh? With the job market what it is, going to school is a great way to do something useful while you wait for a recovery -- but I have recollections of going to grad school on the GI bill many years ago, and all it covered was tuition. Unless they've improved things a lot since then, which doesn't seem likely, you'll need the GI Bill and at least a part time job.

Oh yes, I will get something part time. And yes, it has improved. They will pay tuition and give me a check for about $800 a month, so I figure I can make it on that. Thanks for dropping by.
