Three of the saddest words

Three of the saddest words I've had to say lately was playbook for sale. I'm not kidding. I won a blackberry playbook from my local cellphone service provider. I was so excited, you can't even imagine! I had wanted a tablet since I first saw them but I just don't have the extra money to spend on something like that.
Anyway, I got it and signed up for the app world thing and downloaded a ton of apps. It was so much fun. About a week later, I noticed that I hadn't seen my neighbors car for a while so I walked over and rang the bell. The woman answered and she looked like crap. I could hear her kids running around inside.
She told me that her husband had just up and left after cleaning out the checking account and taking the car. God, I felt bad for her. I asked her if she needed anything and she said, "a meal for my kids". That did it. I came home and cooked enough food for an army so she would have something in her frig and I put my playbook on ebay. It sold immediately and I gave her the money. I'm glad I was able to help her and that is certainly more important than owning a tablet, but I have to tell you I still feel the pain of those three words and I think it was worse because I actually got to play with it for a week. Oh well.
