What time is it? What time do you want it to be?

Isn't it amazing how changing our time by one tiny hour can really mess a person up? It's just one hour.
Woke up this morning and the sun was shining brightly through the window...five am...wow. And even though I am usually awake for at least 17 hours a day....by 13, I'm going to feel really tired. At five tonight, its going to feel like eight, even though its really only six.
You know, I always thought there was some scientific reason for (related to the changing seasons or something) for changing the clocks around... But recently I heard some things on the news that dispute that. First I heard, that not all of the 50 United States change their clocks and other people in the world don't do it either. What? How can that be? Then I heard that some politicians are arguing to keep our time in Daylight Savings Time.
I'm stunned. This time thing is apparently something that someone along the way just made up! Well, I for one think we should shift the time by six hours...this way, those people who aren't morning people, can try it for while, morning rush hour would be history as would the five pm rush hour and this would give night shift workers a little change of scenery...they could actually get a glimpse of the sun. I could watch Jay Leno and other late night television because it would still fall into my seventeen hours of awake time.
